Deborah Russell
Deborah Russell MSW/LCSW is an enrolled memeber of the Northern Cheyenne tribe and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice for over twenty years serving the people of Northern Cheyenne and Crow. She is married to an enrolled Crow for 40 years and has 4 children whom they raised on the Crow reservation. In 2019, her family lost her oldest son to drinking and driving. She took a 8 month break from work to heal and now is currently working at Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital as a Clinical Social Worker. Mrs. Russell grew up in Lame Deer, MT, graduated from St. Labre High School and Chief Dull Knife college.
Her other education stems from obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Montana College in 1991 and obtaining a Master's Degree from University of Utah School of Social Work in 1995. She has a fierce love and determination to bring her people out of despair and oppression. She works with many patients teaching them how to heal and overcome adversity.
