“Our Voices Our Story” is a practical expression of The Lodge Approach’s mission by centering Indigenous voices, fostering authentic cultural exchange, and empowering both Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants to engage in meaningful and transformative learning. It also tells the story of The Lodge Approach.
• Centering Indigenous voices and stories: It provides a platform for Indigenous educators and community members to share authentic Native content and personal narratives, directly supporting The Lodge Approach’s commitment to elevating marginalized Indigenous perspectives and ensuring cultural authenticity in learning.
•Delivering transformative, culturally grounded education: The program utilizes innovative, culturally relevant materials and expertise from K-16 educators to help students deeply understand history, culture, and identity through direct engagement with Indigenous knowledge keepers, aligning with The Lodge Approach’s goal of immersive and transformative educational experiences.
